Biography

Chundi Si is currently a professor, doctoral supervisor and associate dean in School of Traffic and Transportation, Shijiazhuang Tiedao University. She obtained her PhD. degree from Tianjin University at 2007, and she performed collaborative research as a visiting scholar in Transportation Institute of Michigan Technological University. At present, her academic titles include “Outstanding Young Scholars” and “Three-Three Talents” in Hebei Province. She is also the secretary-general of the Manufacturing and Engineering Science Professional Committee, and the member of Hebei Youth Science and Technology Workers Association. Her research interests include Pavement Engineering, Nonlinear System Dynamics, Transport Planning and Management, etc. As project leader, she has presided 2 National Science Foundation of China projects, 2 National Science Foundation of Hebei Province projects, 1 Excellent youth fund of Hebei Provincial Department of Education, 1 Key funded project for returned overseas scholar in Hebei Province. She has published more than 40 journal papers, and about 20 journal papers are indexed by Science Citation Index and Engineering Index. As a leading member, she participated in many key projects, including 973 Project, the key project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the key project of the Ministry of Education, etc.
